Our separator test facility is a one-third model of a test separator currently in operation in the North Sea, handling 20,000 BPD.

The separator is supplied with mixed, individually metered oil, water and gas from a closed loop process system.

The separator has been used for test work as a basis for design guides for the industry, and to test a number of novel designs of internal configuration.

The efficiency of separation is monitored and several windows in the vessel walls enable visual observations of the flow patterns within.
