On board data gathering of hydraulic systems' performance was carried out for BMT Defence services Ltd. on behalf of the UK Ministry of Defence.

Stringent cleanliness precautions were used to break into the systems and all assemblies were pre-flushed to Defence Std. 05/42 2000 or better. Up to 30 parameters were measured and datalogged for Fast Fourier Treansform analysis in our laboratories.

The project resulted in recommendations to improve system viability and overall performance.
