BHR Group's 17th International Conference on Water Jetting will
be held in Mainz, Germany, September 2004. Now in its fourth decade,
BHR Group's biennial Water Jetting Conference continues to bring
together the world's leading specialists in Jetting technology.
Since its first meeting in 1972, the Conference has led to the creation
of a number of national meetings and associations to promote the
applications of Jetting technology, and the 17th Conference and
Exhibition remains a truly international meeting place for worldwide
With each Conference come new applications, new developments and
improved equipment capabilities. The focus of the Conference is
steadily changing to reflect the range of new industries adopting
jetting techniques to solve production, maintenance and decommissioning
problems. Beyond industry, the technology is helping to solve some
of the world's environmental problems in cleaning and recycling
applications and in many areas of decommissioning.
This conference provides the forum to present and discuss the many
industrial applications of water jetting, the very latest in research
and development, and the new issues and challenges for suppliers
The following industries and organisations will find this conference
particularly valuable: · Armaments · Contracting · Construction
· Equipment manufacturers · Government and public bodies · Manufacturing
· Medical · Mining and excavation · Nuclear · Petrochemical · Precision
machining/cutting · Process · Research and academia

Group's Activities in Water Jetting
BHR Group's involvement in jetting began in 1972 with its first
International Conference on this important technology. Since the
early 1980's we have continued to investigate, research, develop
and extend the capability of abrasive waterjet cutting processes
- particularly for difficult, inaccessible and remote operations.
has been placed on directly injected, abrasive suspension jet development,
of which DIAJET is the prime example. BHR Group's Jetting Technology
Centre team comprises of specialists working on a range of problems
from underwater cutting to fine high beam precision machining of
difficult materials and explosives decommissioning. Services to
clients range from cutting trials to consultancy, research, and
equipment supply. Complete cutting systems are developed and supplied
for specific applications, along with technical support, training
and back-up services.
BHR Group is an independent Contract Research and Technology organisation.
Our services to industry are based around our core skills in Fluid
Engineering and include contract research and development, consultancy,
software design and development, product development, conferences,
seminars and specialist training.
