Many of BHR
Group's products have been developed via internal R&D programmes
sponsored (uniquely) by industrial end user and supplier companies,
so that from an early stage they have been shaped by the needs of
our customers. While some production units have now been set up
as separate companies others remain within the Group. These include:
DIAJET
- a waterjet cutting technique which employs solids entrained in
a slurry to minimise water pressure while achieving an impressive
cutting force. Being a cold cutting technique, DIAJET has the capability
of working safely in hazardous and explosive environments. DIAJET
is available in several versions including a factory unit for precision
profiling and man-portable equipment for decommissioning.
OSPREY
- is a mobile and versatile explosives ordnance decommissioning
system based on the DIAJET technology. It is attracting considerable
interest from around the world for the safe disposal of unexploded
or unstable ordnance.
COBRA
- The COBRA Cutting Extinguisher integrates DIAJET technology into
a fire fighting system that offers water mist fire suppression with
reduced secondary damage The DIAJET component of the system is used
to cut openings for rescue or inspection through almost any building
material.
FlexReactor
- a flexible, reconfigurable in-line chemical reactormixing unit
which applies Process Intensification principles to deliver a cost
effective solution to many processes where rapid response to customers
demands is the key.
Hex
Reactor
- A safe, reliable, heat exchanger-chemical reactor which applies
Process Intensification principles to provide an intrinsically safe
environment for many reactors where the close control of heat is
essential.
ISEP
- an in-line separation equipment device which employs hydrocyclone
principles for efficient separation of multi-phase mixtures.
Cyclones
- customised application of cyclone equipment to a variety of situations
including liquid-liquid, gas-liquid, solid-liquid and solid-gas
applications.
Test
Rigs
- we can design and supply specialist test rigs in any of our fields
of expertise to our clients.
Demonstration
models - we can design and supply demonstrators of hydraulic
equipment rangiong from valves and pumps, through processing equipment,
to hydropower structures and fish passes.
