Physical Modelling and Simulation
Physical testing and modelling is a key aspect of much of our work, and we have an impressive list of permanent equipment test facilities available. But in addition to those, we can create customised rigs for your work, or provide rigs for you to use on your premises. We also offer a physical modelling service for hydraulic structures and whole systems, creating carefully scaled models using appropriate fluids to simulate the large-scale reality.

 

Computational Analysis and Simulation
Our computational analysis, modelling and simulation techniques range from simple spreadsheets to the use of complex industry-standard packages such as Flowmaster™ or ABAQUS, and the development of complex CFD and FEA codes and MathCAD models, or knowledge-based or data analysis techniques such as neural networks, image analysis and wavelet analysis.
